TCM Profile

This stew is deeply building and warming.
  • Thermal Nature: Warm to Hot. The ginger, garlic, and spices actively disperse cold and dampness from the body.
  • Organ Networks: Enters the Spleen and Stomach channels.
  • Action: The sweet flavor of the sweet potato and peanut harmonizes the center, while the pungent spices ensure Qi does not stagnate. Excellent for cold winter days or when feeling "heavy" and sluggish.

Additional Benefits

Designed to support metabolic health by prioritizing cellular nutrition over empty calories.
  • Liver Protection: The soluble fiber in the sweet potatoes and greens creates a "gel" in the intestine, slowing absorption and protecting the liver from sugar spikes.
  • Satiety & Gut Health: High-quality protein combined with healthy fats (from the peanuts) triggers satiety hormones early, preventing overeating. The diverse plant fibers feed the gut microbiome rather than the host.
